FullbookTranslate charges a single, one-time price per book, shown before you upload — not a subscription. This Refund Policy explains when a book purchase is eligible for a refund. By purchasing a translation, you agree to the terms below.

Refund Eligibility

1. Before translation starts

If you request a refund before we begin translating your book (for example, immediately after checkout), we will refund the full amount.

2. Failed or incomplete delivery

You are eligible for a full refund if:

  • Delivery Failure: The translation fails to complete due to a technical error on our end and cannot be recovered
  • Corrupted Output: The delivered EPUB is corrupted or unreadable and we are unable to reissue a working file
  • Billing Errors: You were charged incorrectly due to a system error or payment processing mistake
  • Unauthorized Charges: Charges were made without your authorization (subject to verification)

3. Quality concerns after delivery

If the delivered translation has systemic issues — for example missing chapters, broken structure, or a large share of untranslated text — contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will review the specific book and either issue a partial or full refund, or re-run the translation at no extra cost, depending on the issue.

Non-Refundable Cases

The following are generally not eligible for a refund:

  • Successful Delivery: A complete, working bilingual EPUB has been delivered and matches the sample chapter you previewed before purchase
  • Change of Mind: You no longer want the translation after it has already been completed
  • Copyright Issues: You uploaded a book you did not have the right to translate
  • Third-Party Issues: Problems caused by your e-reader, device, or third-party EPUB software rather than the file itself
  • Author Mode Notes: Translation guidance or glossary entries you supplied were followed as given, even if you later change your preference

Refund Process

1. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:

  • Your account email address
  • The order or transaction ID for the book in question
  • Date of purchase
  • Detailed reason for the refund request
  • Any supporting documentation (screenshots, the delivered file, error messages, etc.)

2. Refund Review Process

Our refund review process includes:

  • Initial Review: We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days
  • Investigation: Our team will review the specific book and translation output within 5-7 business days
  • Decision: You will receive a decision within 10 business days of your initial request
  • Processing: If approved, refunds are processed within 3-5 business days

3. Refund Method

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Special Circumstances

In jurisdictions where local laws provide additional consumer protection or mandatory refund rights, those laws take precedence over this policy. We comply with all applicable consumer protection laws.
